Buyer Terms
These terms apply when you buy something through a checkout page powered by MAXBIO Pay.
1. Who you are buying from
You are buying from the creator named on the checkout page — not from MAXBIO Pay. The creator is the seller, sets the price and product, and is responsible for delivering it, for customer service and for refunds. Your payment goes directly to the creator's own Stripe or PayPal account.
MAXBIO Pay (Craig McIntosh, a sole trader trading as MAXBIO.LINK and MAXBIO Pay) provides the checkout software only. If you cannot reach the creator, contact us at support@maxbio.link and we will try to help.
2. Payment
Payments are processed by Stripe or PayPal. Card details go directly to them and are never stored by MAXBIO Pay or the creator. Your statement shows the creator's business name or descriptor.
If you add an order bump, accept a one-click offer after checkout, or buy a subscription, you authorise the creator to charge your saved payment method for that amount. One-click offers are only charged when you click to accept them.
3. Subscriptions
Subscriptions renew automatically at the price and interval shown until you cancel. You can cancel or update your card at any time using the "Manage subscription" link in your receipt email. Cancelling stops future payments; access continues to the end of the paid period unless the creator says otherwise.
4. Digital products and your cancellation right
If you are a consumer in the UK or EU you normally have 14 days to cancel an online purchase. For digital content supplied immediately (such as a download or instant access), by completing your purchase you ask for immediate access and acknowledge that you lose this right once the content is made available to you. For services, you may cancel within 14 days but may have to pay for the part already provided. Your other statutory rights, including if the content is faulty or not as described, are not affected.
5. Downloads
Download links are personal to you, may expire and may be limited in number. Keep a copy of your files. If a link stops working, use the link in your receipt or contact the creator.
6. Refunds
Refunds are decided by the creator under their own refund policy and the law. Contact the creator first; if you cannot resolve it, contact us.
7. Your data
The creator is responsible for your personal data as the seller. MAXBIO Pay processes it on their behalf to take your payment, deliver your purchase and send receipts. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle it.
