MAXBIO Pay Cookie Policy
MAXBIO Pay uses only a small number of cookies. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
1. Who we are
MAXBIO Pay is operated by Craig McIntosh, a sole trader trading as MAXBIO.LINK and MAXBIO Pay ("we", "us", "our"). Our address is 4 Hyndford's Close, 34 High Street, Edinburgh EH1 1TG, Scotland, United Kingdom.

2. Cookies we set
- Session cookie (authjs.session-token and related) — keeps creators signed in to the dashboard. Strictly necessary.
- Security cookies (authjs.csrf-token, authjs.callback-url) — protect sign-in against forgery. Strictly necessary.
- mbp_ref — remembers which affiliate link referred you to a checkout, for up to 30 days, so the right affiliate is credited. It contains only the referral code. This is a strictly necessary cookie for a service the creator provides; you can clear it at any time.
3. Cookies set by payment providers
- Stripe (for example __stripe_mid and __stripe_sid) — set by the card payment form for fraud prevention and to complete payment. See Stripe's cookie policy.
- PayPal — set if you choose to pay with PayPal. See PayPal's cookie policy.
4. Embedded checkouts
When a creator embeds a checkout on their own website, the cookies above work in the same way inside the embedded frame. The creator's own site may set its own cookies, which their policy covers.
5. Your choices
Because we only use strictly necessary cookies, we do not show a consent banner. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, but checkout and sign-in may not work without them.
6. Changes
We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with a new date, and if a change is material we will tell account holders by email or in the dashboard at least 14 days before it takes effect (unless the change is required sooner by law).
